German Film Series 2018
A whole year of German cinema in Thailand
In cooperation with the Thai Film Archive, the Goethe-Institut Thailand is pleased to present the German Film Series for the seventh year running. During the course of 2018, a selection of German films will be screened on a monthly basis at the Thai Film Archive in Salaya.
Throughout the year, cinema lovers can enjoy a total of twelve films of different genres - from drama and comedy to classics. Many of the films have won awards at festivals around the world. Highlights include "Rettet Raffi!", a children's thriller in which a boy searches for his kidnapped hamster, "Herbert", a drama about a boxer who is diagnosed with ALS and whose last fight is reconciliation with his family which he has neglected for years. In "24 Weeks", a pregnant woman has to decide about the future of her unborn child after learning that the baby is likely to be born disabled.
Screenings are at 1 pm on Sundays, once a month. Admission is free.
