A Romance… I Guess: The Lives of Others

Maybe I Do, an independent film programming initiative, expands film culture across Thailand, with Nakhon Ratchasima selected as its first destination in partnership with local partner Homeflick.
 
Under the programme title “A Romance… I Guess”, the series invites audiences to reflect on a range of social, political, and personal issues through film. The opening screening, The Lives of Others, explores themes of longing, envy, and dishonesty.
 
Each screening will be followed by a guided discussion, encouraging audiences to engage with the films’ hidden layers and broader themes. Through this project, Maybe I Do and Homeflick aim to foster lively conversations and strengthen local film communities and film culture.
 
The programme will continue with five further screenings. It is organised by Maybe I Do and Homeflick, with support from the Thai Film Archive, KohFilm, and Snow Clinic.
 
The Goethe-Institut Thailand supports the screening of "The Lives of Others", which will take place on 14 August 2026 at 6:00 PM.
