RITUAL RHYTHM SERIES x LAYERSLEVELS

A journey of sonic and visual experiences through 3 layers of performance: 

1. Vinyls selection from Ritual Rhythm DJs; Endo Nao, Pam Anantr and Moodyboom.

The sounds will build up throughout the 4 hours journey from deep listening and meditative stage to eclectic dance stage. The audience or dancers can explore a range of music from Ambient, Dub, Psychedelic, Jazz, Experimental, Broken Beat, House and Electronics.   

2. Body Movement Exploration with the two dance performers; Mei and Haruka Taira.

The performers will be improvising the dance through their own expression and interpretation of the music individually and together throughout the show.  

3. Visual Projection by Synap; this layer of information will be interactive with the music and the dance.  

This project by Ritual Rhythm Series is an experiment to explore the line between “Theater” and “Club” settings. We would like to introduce an environment where there are blur lines between the audience and the performers. When the sounds make you feel a certain way; you can feel free to express.
