"Joining Astronauts in Space" is a very special booklet from our partner - the German Aerospace Center (DLR). It invites students on a fascinating journey to the International Space Station!
With the help of numerous hands-on experiments, which can be implemented in the classroom using readily available materials, such a space flight is retraced in all its stages: from takeoff to life and work on board to landing.
The booklet was published on the occasion of the second ISS mission of the German ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst and is aimed at 3rd to 6th graders.
By the way, the booklet is also available as an app (iOS and Android) - with numerous videos, image galleries and other additional information (in German only).
