The PASCH initiative is a global network of more than 2.000 schools in 120 countries that maintains a close relationship to both, Germany and the German language. The Goethe-Institut supports around 670 schools in promoting knowledge of the German language abroad. In the US, a total of 14 public schools are supported by the Goethe-Institut as part of the PASCH-initiative. The students and teachers actively participate in local and global activities and are thus part of the worldwide PASCH family.
