Midscale festivals grants

The objective of this call for proposals is to selectforty-two (42)medium-sized festivals operating in the cultural sectors ofCinema, AV & Animation, Heritage, Literature, Music, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts. Seven (7) medium-sized festivals will be selected in each sector. Applicants must indicate the cultural sector/theme for which they are applying in the application form. Each selected organization will receive a grant of€50,000.

After careful review of all submissions, we are delighted to announce the results of the Hub festivals selection.  

Cluster member festival grants

Joining transnational networks
Mid-scale festivals across 15 West African countries to join sectoral clusters led by hub festivals. Participate in internationalisation work plans, develop regional partnerships, access capacity building programmes. Seven positions available per cluster across six cultural sectors.

Artist internationalisation grants

Building careers across borders
Artists, performers, and their managers from West African festival clusters developing international careers. Three 8-month cycles available with sector-specific English training, formal training programmes, mentoring, and international mobility opportunities. 576 individuals supported.
