Description

Inquiry Overview:

This inquiry examines the ways in which memorials and monuments reflect a society's values and history. Students will select an existing memorial or monument and research the event or subject it commemorates and its design. After researching the history of German Reunification, students will have an opportunity to design their own memorial to commemorate one aspect of this event.
