Description
In addition to writing prose, Franz Kafka was a passionate draftsman: "You know, I was once a great draughtsman," he wrote half ironically, half proudly to his longtime fiancée Felice Bauer in 1913 about his artistic ambitions.
Drawing had once given him "more satisfaction than anything else. So what could be more fitting than to honor him on his centenary with a comic biography? And by Nicolas Mahler, who has a similarly minimalist drawing style?
We are pleased to present the poster exhibition KOMPLETT KAFKA in cooperation with the artist Nicolas Mahler and the Literaturhaus Stuttgart on the occasion of the Kafka Jubilee 2024. The exhibition will be shown at our institutes abroad and their partners in educational cooperation. If you are interested, please contact your local Goethe-Institut.
