The handbook "German as a Foreign Language in Kindergarten" provides many suggestions for promoting children's education through language learning. You will find ideas for content, learning objectives and methodological approaches.  
It is aimed at educators abroad to provide an initial contact with German as a foreign language. The recommendations are intended for children between the ages of four and six.
The handbook is suitable only to a limited extent for children with an immigrant background in Germany, as the material is too low-level in terms of language.
In one chapter the handbook specifically addresses the specific situation of early second language acquisition.
This handbook aims to contribute to an interest in learning a foreign language, in this case German, as early as possible. The practice-oriented modules in the boook help to achieve this goal.
The book describes the basics of introducing a foreign language program in kindergarten and also provides building blocks for the design of a training program for "specialist language educators".  
The handbook was compiled by the Goethe-Institut and a team of authors.
If only the feminine form is mentioned in the descriptions, the masculine form is included and vice versa.
