Born in 1960 in Vienna. Studied German literature and philosophy. Held university lectureships at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and at the Sorbonne / Paris IV. Currently Professor of General and Comparative Literature at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Numerous essays in German and French on literature, art, and philosophy.
