Lennart Brauwers lives in Cologne, where he works as a freelance cultural journalist. He writes for publications including Kaput-Mag, Musikexpress, Stadtrevue, and HHV Mag, and his work has also appeared in Die Zeit and the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In addition, he is heard as a music critic on radio programs such as Deutschlandfunk Kultur and serves as co-host of the podcast Talking Kaput. He also publishes the film criticism newsletter Flackern & Rauschen and performs as a musician in various bands. In 2025, he was nominated for the International Music Journalism Award.
