Kito Nedo was born in Leipzig in 1975. He lives and works as a freelance cultural journalist and author in Basel and Berlin. He is editor-in-chief of the museum journal published by Kulturprojekte Berlin and curated the exhibition “Wohnkomplex. Kunst und Leben im Plattenbau” in Potsdam in 2025/26. For the exhibition project and the accompanying publication, Nedo was awarded the 2025 Justus Bier Prize for Curators by the Helga Pape Foundation. In 2017, he was awarded the ADKV Art Cologne Prize for Art Criticism.
