Malaysia
Pre-Jury

A pre-jury of more than 30 local science education and science communication professionals from the participating countries are closely involved in the selection of the films.

In Malaysia the pre-jury in 2019 consisted of the following members:
Noryana Yahya

As a Principal Teaching Training Officer with the focus on Renewable Energy and Automation, she is realizing her green ideas and converting them into real working prototype through implementation of student final year projects. Therefore, her involvement in Science Film Festival (SFF) is the right platform for her to promote and disseminate the information to the public and especially the younger generation in Malaysia.

New ideas, practices and innovations featured in SFF films spark many engineering ideas and solutions that are being implemented in the German-Malaysian Institute student final year projects. The satisfaction she acquired through her work is the driving factor for her to serve as a humble but yet preserving teacher.
