Welcome, science enthusiasts, to the 16th edition of the Science Film Festival in Vietnam!
As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to transform many aspects of our lives, this year's Science Film Festival explores the theme "AI", examining how AI is shaping the future of science, education, sustainability, and society, while raising important questions about ethics, transparency, and its environmental impact.
The festival will take place in Vietnam from early October until December 20, 2026. It is organized by the Goethe-Institut Hanoi in close collaboration with long-standing partner THD Education Solutions Ltd., educational institutions, schools, and a wide range of local partners. The Science Film Festival is supported regionally in Southeast Asia by Rolls-Royce.
Through film screenings, workshops, hands-on activities, and discussions, the festival encourages young people to engage with scientific topics in an accessible and interactive way. Beyond introducing new scientific ideas, the festival aims to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and dialogue about the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence presents for society and sustainable development.
