6th Edition
The sixth edition of the Science Film Festival in Rwanda was organized by Goethe-Institut Rwanda in collaboration with the Rwanda Education Board, Institut Français, and La Fête de la Science in Huye. Ten films were carefully selected and showcased from October 28 to November 25 at five different venues, including Green Hills Academy, Iteka Office, Centre Culturel Francophone du Rwanda, Kabutare Hospital, and the Goethe-Institut in Kigali.

One notable film, “Explorer” by Leon Mitchell and Cinalight Studios, highlighted scientific concepts and research conducted by presenter Brooke Fleming outstandingly. The film also covered space science, which led to a valuable partnership with the Rwanda Space Agency, sparking an engaging conversation with students from Green Hills Academy.

It stands out as one of the most successful events during the Science Film Festival in Rwanda in 2023. The festival in Rwanda was able to implement all the planned events and a total number of 100 attended screenings.
