15th Edition
The Science Film Festival Malaysia 2025, held in a hybrid format from 1 November to 20 December, featured 37 films selected by the Malaysian juries. Through targeted collaborations with festival partners, a series of curated physical screenings was successfully implemented at Sekolah Teris (Terengganu), Haus Kch & Seni Kita (Sarawak), the University of Malaya, and Sustain.ed Kuala Lumpur. These screenings facilitated meaningful engagement with students and teachers from both rural and urban communities. In total, 652 students participated in the on-site programs, underscoring the festival’s effective outreach and continued relevance in Malaysia.

In parallel, festival partners, particularly through School Nature Clubs, actively promoted the dedicated Vimeo country page throughout the festival period. This significantly expanded digital access to the selected films and enabled the festival to reach audiences beyond the physical screening venues.
