Cultural and leisure program

Directly experiencing another culture and making contact with the people are essential for a true understanding of the language. Consequently, our cultural and leisure program is an important component of our course program, complementing classroom activities through personal experience of the German-speaking environment.
All Goethe-Instituts organise several events per week for you, e.g.:

• city tours on foot or by bus
• trade fairs, exhibitions and museums
• theater, concerts or opera
• company tours, tours of university facilities
• sports program
• pub nights, "encounter evenings"
• parties, discos
• day excursions, weekend trips in the local region or to other cities

For some excursions and events, students pay only admission charges and fares.
The institute can provide advice and information on a number of activities and interests (sports, hiking, company visits, etc).
