Virtuelle Mauer / ReConstructing the Wall

For decades, the Berlin Wall was a symbol of the division of Germany, Europe and indeed the entire world into two politically opposing systems.
The interactive 3D installation “VirtuelleMauer / ReConstructing the Wall” recreates a kilometer-long section of the Wall. Exploring the virtual space, users’ movements and actions trigger dramatic encounters with events spanning the 1960s–2000s.
Brandenburg Youth Philharmonic Orchestra

As ambassador of their state, the Brandenburg Youth Philharmonic Orchestra has been performing all over the world in the last years. The young musicians will present a concert together with the Bombay Chamber Orchestra. The programme includes: Prelude to Richard Wagner’s opera “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” (The Mastersingers of Nuremberg) and “The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace” by British composer Karl Jenkins.
Sigmar Polke – Music from an Unknown Source

40 gouaches are the core of Sigmar Polke’s exhibition in Mumbai. These pictures give insight into an artistic oeuvre which has a singular position in the contemporary art scene
of today and is amongst the most significant of the German post-war era.
