The bangaloREsidency programme has been conceived as a long-term collaboration between the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore and various innovative and discerning contemporary art/cultural spaces and partners in Bangalore.

This unique project, which kickstarted in Munich February 23, 2017, is the outcome of a collaboration between 6 ex-bangaloREsidents, who were inspired to develop and intensify the contacts they made in Bangalore during the residency.

bangaloREsidency Expanded aims at establishing long-term artistic exchange through a novel practice of collaboration wherein Indian artists get to work in Germany, gain access to the art practice of the other culture and thereby enrich their own creativity.
