Explore the topics of climate change and sustainability from multiple perspectives. In this EU-course, you will learn from experts how Hamburg is implementing the United Nations’ global sustainability goals and aiming to achieve climate neutrality by 2040. Discover how these ambitions shape the political agenda. You will also gain insights behind the quay walls into the latest developments at the Port of Hamburg and the future of mobility.

The one-week intensive language course offers a unique setting to refresh your German skills, expand your professional network and discuss current European policy issues with colleagues. In addition to the language sessions, you will take part in official meetings at various institutions tailored to your interests and prepared within the course framework. A varied cultural program complements the experience.

Your stay in Germany is preceded by a digital preparation phase, including two mandatory live online sessions in the days before arrival and self-study assignments. This ensures optimal preparation for the in-person course and allows you to get to know the other participants in advance. The digital preparation requires approximately 4 hours of time.
