Children’s City hosts for the sixth time the Science Film Festival. The festival programs will take place from 21 to 27 October 2018 with Science-Shows, workshops and activities for students and regular Children’s City visitors.
The Science Film Festival presents in Dubai a selection of 10 international films focused especially on this year’s theme THE FOOD REVOLUTION. All films are translated and synchronized into Arabic and/or English and are screened in the premises of the Children’s City, Creek Park. The films will be complemented with science shows, experiments, hands on activities and games to explain and re-enact the scientific correlations.
The films and events are registration-based and free of charge. Visitors only pay the regular entrance fee to the Dubai Municipality’s Creek Park, where Children’s City is located. The entrance fee for Children’s City is 10-dirham per child and 15-dirham for adults. A family of two children and two adults enter for 40 dirhams. If teachers book for a group of a minimum of 20 students, the fee for each student is only 5 dirhams, with 2 accompanying adults entry for free.
