For the commemoration of the Bauhaus centenary, Museum of Brisbane is hosting a lecture by visiting Bauhaus scholar, Éva Forgács, titled Everyone is Talented: Bauhaus Pedagogy. Éva Forgács is an Adjunct Professor of Art History at the Art Centre College of Design, Pasadena, California.
The event will also launch the book publication Bauhaus Diaspora and Beyond: Transforming Education through Art, Design and Architecture and is an opportunity to explore the legacy of the Bauhaus ahead of the opening of Bauhaus Now! exhibition at Museum of Brisbane next year.
Presented in partnership with Queensland University of Technology and the Brisbane Consortium for the Visual Arts.
