We are excited to invite you to the conference for teachers of German on 24 March 2023 at the Goethe-Institut Sydney. This training day is held under the motto "Deutsch vernetzt" and offers you the opportunity to gain insights into current trends for motivating and learner-activating German lessons, to get to know newly developed materials for and to strengthen the network for German teachers in NSW. A special highlight will be the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup and an interactive VR workshop where you can embark on a trip to Germany and discuss motivating aspects for your students. In addition, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other teachers about your teaching practice and best practice examples and to finish the day in a relaxed atmosphere on the balcony of the Goethe-Institut.

The conference addresses the NESA professional learning priority area of Delivery and Assessment of NSW Curriculum/Early Year Learning framework for Proficient Teachers. For NESA accreditation purposes, teachers may choose to identify their attendance at the conference as Elective PD, addressing Standards 2.6, 6.2, 6.3 and 7.4.
