Sharon Dodua Otoo is an award-winning novelist and political activist. She writes prose as well as essays, edits a books series and curates a literature festival. In 2016, she won the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize, a major international literary award. She has four children and lives in Berlin.

In November 2023, Sharon Dodua Otoo will visit Australia to present her debut novel Ada's Realm and to speak about her work. The Goethe-Institut and the University of Sydney are proud to co-present this exceptional author and thinker.
