This 1.5-day workshop is designed to equip Victorian German Teachers with tools and strategies to create immersive learning experiences and enhancing student engagement to boost motivation. It also emphasizes language maintenance for the educators themselves. This workshop is funded by the Victorian Government and is free for Teachers of German at Victorian Government School.*
The workshop includes:
 

• Language Immersion Activities: Exploring benefits of immersive language learning and best practices to take home and use immediately.
• Digital Tools and Technology: Exploring digital resources and tools that can enhance student engagement and allow for authentic learning scenarios.
• Collaborative Learning: Network with other Teachers or German to exchange ideas and learn about successful approaches and projects.
• Tending to Teachers’ Language Maintenance Needs.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be well-prepared to create immersive learning experiences and thus boost their students’ motivation to keep learning German.
