This webinar is designed for German teachers who want to incorporate the topic of football into their German lessons using ready-made materials and motivate their students. Using creative and ready-to-use teaching materials (“U-Häppchen”), we’ll show you how your students can engage with the topic in a variety of ways while simultaneously expanding their reading skills, vocabulary, and creativity.
The focus is not only on key aspects of the World Cup, such as host cities, teams, and the international significance of this event, but also on the themes of diversity and multilingualism in sports.
In addition, we will present three football films - perfect for the World Cup - that are currently available on our streaming platform, Goethe on Demand.
