Internationaler Jugendfreiwilligendienst

The German Red Cross in Saarbrücken has been sending young adults to France since 2002. Following the launch of a pilot year in 2008, which marked the start of the collaboration between the Red Cross and the Goethe-Institut in Paris, more and more institutes in France have joined the scheme in recent years, followed by one in Belgium in 2015 and, since 2021, one in the Netherlands as well. (Information in German only)
