As part of the reorganisation of its library, the Goethe-Institut Kamerun is offering library internships to continue its contribution to the professionalisation of the information and documentation sector. Three (03) different types of internships are available to interested people and institutions:
Aimed at secondary school pupils (Première/lower sixth, Terminale/Upper sixth) who wish to discover how a library works and its various activities.
Duration: 2 weeks (June)
Objective: to immerse oneself in the world of the library, participate in simple daily tasks, and discover the services offered to the public.
For students enrolled in a course related to books, libraries, archives or documentation.
Duration: 12 weeks depending on the requirements of the institution (July - September)
Objective: to deepen knowledge, participate in concrete projects (cataloguing, events, welcoming the public, promoting the collections, etc.)
- Professional internship / retraining
Open to people in vocational training, people changing careers or job seekers.
Duration: 12 weeks (October - May)
Objective: to acquire practical skills through personalised support and integration into the library's daily tasks.
