BKD-Lehrkräfte-Camp in Mbalmayo
From 14 to 18 August 2023, 20 teachers from various regions met in Mbalmayo to take part in the BKD Teachers' Camp. This year's focus was on the topic "GFL - young people learn differently?".
The seminars were led by two colleagues from the multiplier network. Wili Chuisseu, for example, focussed on movement in German lessons. Always combining theory and practice, the participants were given the latest findings on brain research and concrete suggestions for getting language "moving". The aim was to utilise the potential of movement in German lessons and to deal with the associated challenges.
The second seminar block, led by Babeth Rosine Nanga, focussed on the topic of "feedback". The multiplier vividly conveyed to the participants that professional feedback on the learning process makes a significant contribution to improving the quality of teaching and learning. The seminar therefore focussed on teaching participants how to give effective feedback in GFL lessons and how to respond to feedback from learners. Particular attention was paid to building a trusting and constructive feedback culture as well as effective and positive communication between teachers and learners.
