"HUB OF AFRICA FASHION WEEK"

As part of Hub of Africa Fashion Week (HAFW) the Goethe-Institut Äthiopien will host a round table discussion on January 27 from 10 am-1 pm and showcasing a photo exhibition of the works of designers who are part of HAFW Mentorship Program. The exhibition will be open to the public until February 10.

HAFW with its partner Fashion Africa 254 (FA254) supported by Goethe-Institut Äthiopien, conducted a 6 month workshop to tie the Designers Mentorship Program into a strong international context. FA254 mentors Waridi Schrobsdorff and Kelly Konings focused on working towards sustainability efforts in the fashion industry encouraging ethical, equitable, inclusive and environmentally responsible practices to contribute to a sustainable Africa.
 
The designers with their respective mentors and other invited guests will join the round table discussion at the Goethe-Institut.

The final result of HAFW Mentorship program will be showcased through a series of programs from January 26-30, 2022.
