PROJECT ASSISTANT (FREELANCE)

As part of the project “Mein Weg nach Deutschland (MWnD)”, funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and co-financed by the European Union (EU), the Goethe-Institut Ghana is seeking a freelance project assistant for the period from November 1st, 2025 to September 30th, 2026.
Please note: This opportunity does not represent a regular or fixed income. It is a self-employed, freelance activity with a flexible workload of approximately 10–15 hours per week.
 
The Goethe-Institut is seeking an external service provider on a fee basis for the completion of the following tasks:

Duties include:
  • Administrative support in the preparation and follow-up of events and consultations
  • Conducting online consultations for members of the target group
  • Communication and follow-up with target group members
  • Representation and support of MWnD-Ghana at partner events, trade fairs, meetings, and similar occasions
  • Secretarial and organizational tasks contributing to the implementation of MWnD-Ghana training programs
Requirements:
  • Proven degree in project management or comparable professional experience
  • Proven German language proficiency of at least B1
  • Confidence in working with digital tools, media, and computer applications
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured, reliable manner
  • Flexibility in working hours (on demand)
  • Willingness to work on weekends
  • Willingness to travel within Ghana
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
