Julia and Tobias appear to be the perfect couple—until their daughter Marielle develops the uncanny ability to hear and see their every move. Suddenly, the lies and secrets they’ve long hidden from each other are laid bare. In desperation, the parents resort to elaborate manipulations to outwit their child, but the harder they try, the more absurd and destructive the game becomes. A sharp, darkly comic portrait of modern family life, the film exposes the fragile foundations of communication, trust, and intimacy.
