Kyle Chung Portrait © Kyle Chung Kyle Chung is a Hong Kong based curator whose recent exhibitions explore the dynamics between technologies, materiality and human agency. Chung received his MA in Curating from the Chelsea College of Arts in London, and was awarded a PhD Fellowship for doctoral research in School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong. Selected exhibitions include “Leave Your Body: Virtual Cattle Depot Residency on Minecraft” (2020) at Videotage in Hong Kong, “Ellen Pau: Time After Time Will Tell” at 1961 Gallery in Singapore (2018) “#YOU #ME #ourSELFIES” at Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, “One World Exposition 2.1: #like4like” (2017) at chi K11 art space in Hong Kong, “To Outland” (2016) at SMAC in Berlin, Germany, “Conjunctions and Disjunctions” (2016) at Juried Exhibition of International Symposium on Electronic Art 2016 in Hong Kong, and “Bright Shadow” at The Morgue in London. Chung was appointed as Co-Producer of Diversity Arts Festival at Gay Games 2022 Hong Kong, Co-Chair of Art Gallery at SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 in Tokyo, as well as Jury of CynetArt International Festival in Dresden, Germany in 2016. Chung is currently Senior Research Associate in Centre for Applied Computing and Interactive Media at City University of Hong Kong, and House Curator at Videotage in Hong Kong.
