Placement test

Through a placement test for children, we will determine your child's (age 5-15) German proficiency, set a learning goal, and select an appropriate course for your child together.

Our placement test for children consists of (1) a written test, which is completed at home, and (2) an oral interview with one of our teachers, either online or at our institute.

You will be informed by email that your booking is successfully confirmed. Upon submitting the written test, an interview invitation will be sent by email with the confirmed date and time.

Only after completing the placement test can you book a course through our Webshop (except A1.1/ KID1 beginner's course).

*The test fee will be deducted from the course fee if you enrol in a German course within four months.

Through an placement test for adults, we will determine your German proficiency, set a learning goal with you, and select an appropriate course together.

The adaptive test consists of (1) a written online test and (2) an oral Zoom interview (duration: approximately 15 minutes).

After submitting the online test, you will be informed by email about when you can expect the invitation for the Zoom interview. This invitation will be sent by email with specific date and time suggestions.

You will then select a suitable appointment and conduct the interview via Zoom at that time. Only after completing the adaptive placement test can you book a course through our Webshop (except A1.1 beginner's course).

*The test fee will be deducted from the course fee if you enrol in a German course within four months.

**If you are under 18 years old, the placement test must be booked by your parents.
