Hans-Werner Kroesinger and Regine Dura are among the best-known representatives of documentary theatre in Germany. They are presenting their production STOLPERSTEINE STAATSTHEATER, which was invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen in 2016 and since then has been on guest tours in Europe and China.
STOLPERSTEINE STAATSTHEATER deals with the ideological takeover of the Karlsruhe theatre by the National Socialists in 1933 and traces the consequences of National Socialist and right-wing politics on the basis of 4 Jewish artist biographies.
In addition, Kroesinger and Dura present excerpts from further documentary theatre work to outline their work approach.
