This November marks the 30th anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution and the fall of the Berlin Wall. The Wall stood as a symbol of a divided city and country, of terror, and the Cold War. How did it affect the people and how different life was before and after 9. November 1989?
To mark the historic event, selected books, films and documentaries dealing with its construction, the division of Berlin, the Cold War and the peaceful revolution of 1989 are on display and available for borrowing at the library of Goethe-Institut Hongkong.
