Goethe-Institut Hongkong is pleased to support the Colours of Humanity Arts Prize 2022 again this year by showcasing awarded and shortlisted artworks in the Goethe-Gallery and Black Box Studio. Along with the other five awards, the InkluVision Award, presented by the Goethe-Institut, will be given to an artwork that advocates an inclusive society without limitations, and defines inspiring visions. Works with the themes refugee and migrant rightsLGBT rights and inclusivity as well as submissions by art therapy practitioners will be showcased in the exhibition. All artworks selected for exhibition are kindly donated to Justice Centre Hong Kong for auction to support the work of the centre. The auction took place on July 7, 2022 (Thu) in the Goethe-Gallery.

Echoes of humanity at its best, art expressions reflect positive acts of people towards tragedies around the world, where diverse colours of humanity interweave into peaceful and splendid lives. Colours of Humanity Arts Prize 2022 is dedicated to strive for a better future where everyone's unique beauty is being respected and appreciated, through the exhibition of the selected artworks exploring the subject of refugee and migrant rights, LGBTQI+ rights and inclusivity etc. Promoting the importance of healing and caring, this year‘s Arts Prize highlights the altriustic effect in arts. We encrouage participants to reflect on their own experiences, receive emotional support and connect with others through the exhibtion and guided tours.
