Embark on this exclusive tour led by Joel Chung as we delve into the works and spirit of the King of Kowloon. In 1997, his artworks sparked significant controversy when exhibited at the Goethe Institute. This opportunity allows us to rediscover the remarkable exhibition and thought-provoking artworks, including calligraphy and graffiti, within the context of modern art.
Tsang Tsou-Choi declared that the land in Kowloon belonged to his family, earning him the title 'King of Kowloon'. Over the years, his distinct calligraphy, crafted with Chinese brushes, ink, and at times markers, adorned the streets, solidifying his status as one of Hong Kong's legends. Half a century later, his persistence has finally been acknowledged, becoming a shared cultural memory of the city for generations of Hong Kong people.
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to experience the exhibition. We look forward to sharing this unforgettable journey of art and culture with you!
