Hubertus Siegert documents the transformation of Berlin in the second half of the 90s, both fascinated and sceptical: the construction boom after the fall of the Berlin Wall has reached its peak. Architects, city planners, politicians, civil servants and building contractors move at breathtaking speed, while the question of the legitimacy of the old and the meaning of the new lingers.
