Seminar|How does religious diversity manifest itself in everyday life in Germany? This lecture offers interesting insights into how people of different faiths live together—with a special focus on Muslim life in Germany.

The focus is on aspects of Muslim life, such as questions of halal food, the significance of mosques as religious and social spaces, and the use of religious attire such as the hijab. Concrete examples are used to illustrate how these topics are reflected in everyday life, in public spaces, and in educational settings.
Interactive elements invite participants to share their own experiences and draw connections to the respective context. The goal of the presentation is to expand cultural knowledge and provide new ideas for the classroom.

Narimene Hagani
sees living across multiple cultures as a unique opportunity to discover and bring together different perspectives. These experiences have also shaped her interest in social diversity and intercultural learning. She is studying German and political science with a focus on teacher education at Leibniz University Hannover. She is currently teaching German as a foreign language as an intern in the SCHULWÄRTS! program at SMA Dwiwarna in Bogor.
