as part of First Fortnight European Mental Health Arts & Culture Festival 2019
In addition to the German movie “4 Kings”, two European films will be shown in the Goethe-Institut Irland as part First Fortnight.
Drifting Away

Paul dreams to go sailing with his father but his father tumbles into a depression and literally dissolves right before his eyes. The family threatens to collapse and for Paul faces a big decision.

Laura’s Journey

A silver platter: the only thing she kept from her humanitarian project. After four long years in denial, Laura wishes to regain control over her life. Today, the young woman prepares for a decisive journey: she wants to bring the platter back where it came from. Laura is about to revisit the places where she was raped, in the middle of a north African desert.
