Kinderuni at home
The digital Kinderuni is perfect for children between 8 and 12 years old who are just starting to learn German, but also for those who already have a good command of the language.
The lectures are available in German and English with German subtitles. Each lecture consists of a video, followed by three tasks related to the video, as well as a bonus task. In the videos, children learn 10 new German words to help them get a playful introduction to the language.

With a parent account, you can view all the tasks at once to understand the logic behind the learning process. You can also track your child's progress.Kinderuni at Schools
The digital KInderuni can be used for learning at school in various contexts and areas of application. The individual lectures can be used in class according to different topics or be applied outside class subject to learners’ interest or in conjunction with other subjects.

The German Children’s Online University (Kinderuni) is a free educational platform of the Goethe-Institut for children aged 8 to 12. It helps children to find answers to questions about the phenomena of the world, and enables children to learn and play in the German language.
