The Goethe-Institut e. V. is the worldwide cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. We promote the learning of the German language abroad and perpetuate international cultural cooperation. Moreover, we strive to paint a realistic picture of Germany through information about the cultural, societal and political life.
In the new project “Mein Weg nach Deutschland” (MWnD-Kenya/ My Way - Kenya) of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) of the European Union, we support East Africans who are moving permanently to Germany to work there. We provide vital information and networks to facilitate the migration process. The integration begins in the country of origin. Our countries of focus are Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
