​Tilaxan Tharmapalan

Tilaxan Tharmapalan is a Jaffna based free-lance photographer, mostly working on traditional subjects such a Savaari (bull cart races), architecture, Theer (chariots), woodcarvings and portraits. He has held a solo exhibition at the Art Circle of the Fine Arts Department University of Jaffna and a documentary exhibition on traditional bull cart races supported by Goethe-Institut at the St. Markam Community Center, Jaffna.
