Goethe-Institut Welcomes Student Exchange Participants
On the 23rd of October 2025, the Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka was invited to attend the Welcome Celebrationorganized by Wisdom International College to mark the beginning of the 2025/26 Student Exchange Program between Wisdom International College (Sri Lanka) and Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium (Germany).
The celebration featured an engaging program of songs, traditional and modern dances, and speeches from distinguished guests — including the Mayor of Beruwala, representatives from the Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium, and the Principal of the Goethe-Institut.
The event beautifully reflected the partnership and cultural exchange between the two institutions. On the 3rd of November 2025, both exchange program schools visited the Goethe-Institut Colombo for a guided tour and interactive activities. The students participated in cultural games, language-based tasks, and discussions that encouraged collaboration and intercultural understanding.
The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany also joined the visit, adding special significance to the occasion and highlighting the strong educational ties between Germany and Sri Lanka. The visit concluded with a sense of enthusiasm, friendship, and mutual learning — a wonderful continuation of the 2025/26 Student Exchange journey between Wisdom International College and Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium.
