ON THE WAY (UNTERWEGS)

What does “on the way” mean to us? An individual sets off on a journey to a certain destination, reaching it by various ways. They have many different reasons for their adventure. Therefore we would like to present you a film series that explore some of these reasons.
For some people, it is the fulfillment of a dream; others don’t have another way to survive. It can be a dispute with politics, society, love or the truth. “On the way”, we meet people and situations, which question our own values and norms which can lead to conflicts.
Some people start their journey searching their family member or their roots, others want to explore unknown or escape from their everyday life.

The Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka invites you to the new film series "On the way", a film series about the stories of people, who travel around the globe.
