Ute Krause raised in Turkey, Nigeria and Cyprus and India. She had spent a long time in The USA and is now living together with her family in Berlin. Ute Krause is a writer, script writer and illustrator of children`s books.
She studied first communication at the Berlin art academy. After 1989 film and television play at the University of film and TV in Munich.
Ute Krause is an award winning author of more than sixty children`s books published in Germany and throughout the world. Since 1985 she has published 16 picture books, so far written four children’s novels and illustrated over 400 picture and children’s books. Her multifaceted works also include short and documentary films, cartoons for the magazine “Stern” and several screenplays.
Ute Krause will come to Colombo after her performance at the
Fairway Galle Literary Festival 2018 to do a presentation of her work. Following a discussion with her.
