The Namibian short film "The Good Shepherd" will be shown beforehand: Gábeb, a former street enforcer training to be a pastor, runs a modest garage at the desert’s edge, offering a classroom and refuge for at-risk teens. When Nawez, a teen he mentors, disappears into the city’s underbelly, Gábeb leaves his sanctuary to search the markets, back rooms, and neon clubs of Windhoek. By dawn, battered but unbroken, he brings her home and discovers that mercy, not force, opens a path back to grace.
