School Screenings

Learning another language like German opens a window to another world. Films can provide an opportunity to experience cultural diversity, are helping at the same time to develop an understanding for different cultures, and are therefore a strong motivator for intercultural learning. 2020 we are fortunate to have partnered with the Goethe-Institut Australia to secure a diverse programme with a focus on science and astronomy.

Screening German films for children and teens has been an integral part of our cultural student programmes for many years.

In 2020 we offer for the first time the possibility to stream and show the films online in the classroom via Video on Demand.

Films for school students will be screened from 26 - 30 October 2020:

Rocca changes the world - Junior
TKKG Detective Agency - Junior
Checker Tobi and the secret of the planet - Junior

Family films are available from 31 October to 1 November 2020:
Tschick: Goodbye Berlin
Der Junge muss an die frische Luft - All about me
