Pre-Show Talk: “The Quiet Living of Lost Things”
Work-in-Progress Talk
-
Wellington, Goethe-Institut, 150 Cuba Street
This year’s Goethe-Institut Artist in Residence, the German theatre director and visual artist Anna Peschke, will talk with author William Connor about their collaborative theatre project.
Fresh from a massive project fusing “Der Ring des Nibelungen” with the art form of Peking Opera, Anna Peschke has now come to New Zealand to work on a new collaboration with Kiwi writer, William Connor.
On Friday the 13th of March we shall learn more about their current project, about the highs and lows of creating a site-specific work combining installation and performance art, while being introduced to some of the objects that will feature in the installation theatre work.
“The Quiet Living of Lost Things” will premiere in Greytown on 20-22 March.
